NEF Law College - Admission 2015
NLET is the examination, which invites applications in to various UG and PG Law courses. This examination is organized by the NEF Law College, which is located in North Eastern India. Most of the young Law Professionals in Guwathi have pursued their bachelor degree from this college.
Courses:
The following 5 Year Integrated course are offered:
- B.A, LL.B. (Hons)
- BBA, LL.B. (Hons)
- B.Com, LLB (Hons)
Eligibility:
Candidates who desire to pursue UG Law Courses at NEF College have to mandatorily satisfy the following eligibility criteria in order to apply for NLET examination:
- Applicants for 5 year integrated B.A, LL.B. (Hons); BBA, LL.B. (Hons) and B.Com, LL.B. (Hons) courses through NLET need to pass their 10+2 or higher secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized education board of State or Central.
- Candidates applying for all courses are required to score an aggregate mark of 45% in their 10+2 or equivalent if they belong to open category.
- Incase if the applicants are from reserved categories or physically challenged then they should have a minimum score of 40% in their 10+2 or equivalent.
- If the candidates are appearing for final year of 10+2 examination in 2015 are also eligible to apply for the course.
Age Limit:
Candidates interested this 5 year integrated courses at NEF College will be liable to apply for the entrance test NLET only if they are less than 22 years of age if they are from General or OBC. But, if the applicants are from SC/ ST/ PD then they should not exceed 25 years of age.
Registration:
Candidates who wish to apply for NEF Law Entrance Test are required to follow the below mentioned guidelines:
- Candidates applying for this examination can obtain the application forms at the college office or through post or even by downloading forms from the official website.
- The official website of the college from where students can download the form is www.nefcollege.org
- Fill the form correctly with blue or black ball point only without making any mistakes.
- Attach recent color passport size photograph in the space provided.
- Now send the filled in form, 5 stamp size recent color photographs and 2 self addressed envelopes to "National Education Foundation (NEF) Law College, G.M.C Road, Ananda Nagar (Opposite the CUBE), Christianbasti, Guwhati, Assam".
Registration Fees:
Applicants are required to make a payment of 500/- if they purchase the forms directly from the College Office. In case, if they want to obtain the form by post, then they are required to draw a DD in favor of "NEF Law College" payable at Guwahati for 550/-. Even they can download the form from the official website, but fees as to be paid through DD of 500/-.
Syllabus:
Candidates applying for NLET are required to revise 10o+2 subjects and topics of English Comprehension, Legal, Reasoning, Logical and aptitude for the test. The time duration of this entrance examination will be 3 hours and all the questions will be of multiple choice only.
