Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow proudly presents the "Ram Manohar Lohiya Parliamentary Debate - 2014" from 31st October - 2nd November, 2014.
This year, the Asian Format Debate goes grandiose with a bounty of more than Rs. 3,00,000 to be looted. Boasting of a stellar adjudication core, humongous prize money & the ambience of the good old city of Nawabs, the tournament promises to be bigger and better this year. After the grand success of the 1st Justice J.S.VERMA Parliamentary Debate 2013, the Debate and Discussion Committee of RMLNLU, is proud to launch RMLPD 2014.

Prize Money
- Winners: Rs 75,000
- Runners-up: Rs 50,000
- Semi-finalists: Rs 20,000
- Quarter-finalists: Rs 8,000
- Rank 1 Adjudicator: Rs 15,000
- Rank 2, 3 and 4 Adjudicators: Rs 8,000 each
- Rank 5, 6 and 7 Adjudicators: Rs 6,000 each
- Rank 8, 9 and 10 Adjudicators: Rs 4,000 each

Adjudicators' Subsidy:
Good quality adjudicators are inevitable for the success of any debating tournament. We, the organizers of RMLPD 2014, welcome adjudicators to apply for subsidy. The details of the procedure for subsidy are as follows:
Policy:
The selected adjudicators are entitled to:
- Waiver of Registration Fees [Rs. 1,600]
- Travel Reimbursement for up to 3rd AC Train Fare.
Procedure:
Interested adjudicators should send in their CVs at ddc.rmlnlu@gmail.com with the mail subject as "Adjudicator Subsidy Application"
Note:
- The adjudicators entitled to the subsidy will be informed as soon as the Core-Adjudicators confirm the selections.
- Last date for applying for Adjudicator Subsidy: 18th October, 2014.
Registration Fees:
R.M.L.P.D. 2014 has a nominal registration fee of 1600 INR per person (for each team member/adjudicator) which is inclusive of the following:
- Transport (Airport/Railway station to RMLNLU and vice versa )
- Accommodation
- Food (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
- Break-night Special Dinner
- Participants' Stationary Kit
Registration Fee is to be paid upon arrival/on the spot.
