5th SLCU National Moot Court Competition
School of Law Christ University is extremely glad to announce that its annual flagship event, 5th SLCU National Moot Court Competition
Date: 4th - 7th September, 2014
Venue: School of Law, Christ University Campus, Hosur Road, Bangalore
Eligibility:
Law schools/colleges recognised by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate in the School of Law Chirst University National Moot Court Competition, 2014. The participants should currently be pursuing their Bachelor's degree in Law i.e., Three Year or Five Year LL.B course.
Team Composition:
There shall be three members, two speakers and a researcher in a team.
Registration:
The team participating is required to duly fill the Provisional Online Registration Form provided along with the Email by 30th July 2014 and upload an attested scanned copy of the Demand Draft with the team details by 10th August 2014. A registration fee of Rs.3,000/- shall be sent through Demand Draft in favour of Christ University payable at Bangalore along with the attested printout of the Online Registration Form. Each team shall be allotted a Team Code on the receipt of Online Registration Form. Spot registration shall not be entertained.
Moot Problem:
The moot problem of this edition is a hard one to crack. It revolves around the areas of Constitutional law and Environmental law drafted by Prof. (Dr.) Sairam Bhatt.
Hospitality:
All the participants from cities other than Bangalore shall be given accommodation by the University during the duration of the competition. Only the registered three member team shall be provided with accommodation. Any other additional member shall make their own accommodation arrangements.
Deadline:
The last date for provisional registration is 30th July, 2014.
