14th Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Competition 2014 (National Zonal Rounds)
The Indian Society of International Law (ISIL), International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Regional Delegation, New Delhi is extremely pleased to announce the introduction of two Zonal Rounds for the forthcoming 14th Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition 2014 on International Humanitarian Law.
The two zones for the 2014 Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Competition are North Zone and South Zone. The ISIL and ICRC is delighted to partner with the Institute of Law, Nirma University Ahmedabad, Gujarat, for the North Zone of the 14th Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Competition 2014.
The South Zone will be held in collaboration with Department of Legal Studies, University of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The National Final Round of the 2014 Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Competition shall be jointly organised with Indian Society of International Law (ISIL) on 15th - 17th August, 2014 at New Delhi.
Eligibility:
All universities, colleges, and institutions imparting legal education on a regular or evening basis in a program of study that leads to a Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B / BL) or Masters in law (LL.M / ML) are eligible to participate in the national Zonal rounds of the Moot Court competition . All students enrolled on a full time or evening basis in a program of study leading to or equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B / BL) or Masters in law (LL.M / ML), are also eligible to participate. Students who have participated in this Moot Court competition on a previous occasion are not eligible to participate again in the Zonal rounds.
The team belonging to the partner organisation/university/institution/ college co-hosting the National Zonal Rounds of the moot competition, shall participate in another zonal round competition. This is to ensure transparency and impartiality.
Team Composition:
Each participating university/college/institute shall nominate only one team consisting of three student members, plus a coach from the faculty of the university/college/institute that they represent to participate in the National Zonal rounds.
Registration (North Zone):
We request you to ensure that the Registration form reaches the organizes either by post to Institute of Law, Nirma University, Sarkhej-Gandhi Nagar Highway, Ahmedabad- 382481 or by email to hdnz2014@nirmauni.ac.in as soon as possible.
The memorials and counter memorials should be duly submitted on or before 14th July, 2014 to the Institute of Law, Nirma University. All the teams are requested to reach the venue of the competition, i.e., Institute of Law, Nirma University latest by the noon of 1st August, 2014.
Hospitality:
The organizing committee is delighted to provide accommodation and meals to the members of the participating teams for the entire duration of the competition.
