UILS - 3rd National Client Counseling Competition
University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Panjab University, Chandigarh is organising 3rd UILS National Client Counseling Competition - 2014.
Date: 4th February 2014
Team Composition:
Each team, comprising of two law students [pursuing LL.B. (3years) or B.A.LL.B. (5 years) course], is eligible to participate from each law school. Participants conduct a simulated interview in order to provide mutual assistance and support in researching, planning and conducting the interview, and no observer or extra participant will be allowed to sit through the competition at any time.
The Consultation Situations for the UILS National Client Counseling Competition - 2014 will be based on 'Intellectual Property Rights and Consumer Protection Laws'.
Registration:
Registration Fee is Rs. 2,000/-. Due to the unique format of the competition and requirement of special arrangements, the registration is restricted to twenty (20) teams only and will be on 'First Come First' basis
You are requested to send your confirmation on or before 22nd January, 2014 by email to jasmeetegan@hotmail.com and copy to director_uils@pu.ac.in. Along with this, a copy of the Registration Form, duly filled and attested by the Head of the Institution and the Registration Fee of Rs. 2000/- by way of Demand Draft, must also be sent by post (to the following address) before by 25th January, 2014:

The Registration Form along with the copy of the Draft can also be scanned and sent at the above email or faxed at 0172-2784283 before 25th January, 2014.
Hospitality:
University Institute of Legal Studies will provide boarding and lodging to the participating teams which will be only for the duration of the Competition (i.e. from the morning of 3rd February till the morning of 5th February, 2014) in the University Hostels on campus on a sharing basis.
