Admission to P.G. Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
International Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ICADR) and NALSAR University of Law invites applications for PG Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution (Proximate Education) Course for 2014 session.
Delays and arrears in courts are causing frustration and hardship to the disputants. The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Methods such as Arbitration, Conciliation, Mediation are being actively encouraged by the Governments and the Judiciary to provide a mechanism for speedy justice to the disputants at less cost.
There is a great demand in India for ADR Practitioners in view of manifold increase in business and commerce. The candidates can practise independently in the field of Arbitration, Conciliation and Mediation and their skills and services can also be utilized by the courts while implementing Section 89 of CPC.
The Diploma Course has a comprehensive syllabus designed by NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad with emphasis on Simulation Exercises and Contact Classes.
Eligibility:
Minimum eligibility for the diploma is Graduation.
The duration of the course is 9 months. Admissions are open for the Tenth Batch for the academic year 2014. Contact Classes will be held at all important centres depending upon the availability of minimum number of candidates.
Interested candidates may obtain the Prospectus-cum-Application Form from the Secretary, ICADR, 10th Floor, Gaganvihar Building, Opp: Gandhi Bhavan, M,J, Road, Hyderabad - 500001, by payment of Rs. 300/- either in cash or by Demand Draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of ICADR payable at Hyderabad.

The application form duly filled in should be submitted to ICADR on or before 21st January, 2014.
