Aligarh Muslim University conducts an entrance examination for admission to its Post Graduation Law course LLM. Aligarh Muslim University is one of the oldest educational bodies of India established even before the independence of the country. It holds entrance examinations for its different courses separately every year. Entrance to LLM course is through a separate entrance test conducted by AMU. The University is one of the most top notched Institutes, which offer the course of LLM. It is known for its innovative style of teaching along with high standard of law based education.
Aligarh Muslim University's Law courses are highly reputed across the country. LLM is a 2 year postgraduate law program. The Institute offers 100 seats for the given LLM course. The examination is of high standard and maintains the high class of admission of elite candidates within the University The teaching staff has been renowned because of its unique manner of teaching the subject.
Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for LLM a candidate must have LLB/BA LLB degree with atleast 55% marks. Those in the final year can also apply. The candidates that are interested in undertaking admission in the present course should have attained a minimum age of 22 years as on 01st July of the ensuing year of the admission.
Application forms availability for AMU LLM Entrance:
Application forms for AMU will be available at the website www.amucontrollerexams.com and candidates have to download the form from the website and send the completed form along with a demand draft and necessary documents to AMU.
The candidates who are interested in earning their Application Form through post have to send a requisite letter to the given address, along with mentioning of the registration number at the top. These candidates are also advised to provide a sample of signature at the back side of the Demand Draft. The candidates also have to provide different important documents along with the requisite letter. The University will reply to the post as soon they receive the post.

Entrance examination date: Mid week of May, 2011
Pattern of Examination:
The entrance test will be of two hours consisting of objective and short answer type questions from the LLB/BA LLB Syllabus. The examination is held in the month of August every year.
