Rotary Indian International Model United Nations (RIIMUN) - 2014
RIIMUN has been India's premier International Model UN for a number of years now. The event is being jointly hosted by Rotary Club of Pune North East and Rotary Club of Poona Airport. The conference attracts some of the best young debating talents, who don the role of United Nations delegates and discuss global issues of great relevance.
Date: 10th - 12th January, 2014
Venue: Balaji Institute of Modern Management at Wakad, Pune
The aim is to create international awareness among the youth and expose them to the procedures and working of the United Nations to resolve pertinent global issues. We also aim to educate participants about civics, effective communication, globalization and multilateral diplomacy in a bid to create world leaders.
The conference shall witness the simulation of 7 councils. In addition, there will also be a simulation of the International Press at the conference, for all the budding photographers and journalists with an interest in international relations and world events.
