Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) holds a Common Entrance Tests for admission in its different programs within the university as well as its affiliated institutes. In order to bag admission in BA LLB/BBA LLB course, candidates should appear in an Entrance Exam. Indraprastha University was constructed in the year 1999 by the Government of the NCT of the state of Delhi and has been recognized by the University Grants Commission. It is one of the largest universities within Delhi which offers several of different kinds of professional programs.
Indraprastha University provides 5 year BA LLB/BBA LLB course in University Campus and 5 other affiliated institute. University School of Law and Legal Studies provides both BA LLB & BBA LLB courses while the affiliated institutes provide BA LLB course. There are a total of 620 seats in all in both the programs.
This is one of the reputed and excellent Universities known for its quality education. To take admission in this institute is a matter of pride for them. The University commences an entrance Test every year in the month of June for the Admission. Number of students takes part in this test. The candidates have to fill the form as per the norms of the University rule. The requests are granted for those candidates who send their forms and all the documents which it demands within the announced date.
The university invites the eligible candidates for the test which it commences in all over India at different centers. The examination pattern of the exam is based on an Objective type pattern. The questions which have been asked in the exam are related to the Physics, Chemistry, Math and English. The questions are tricky and needs a deep knowledge to solve. Basically the question paper follows the N.C.E.R.T. books.
The candidates having deep and conceptual knowledge secure excellent marks in the entrance test. For getting the admission in the institute the candidates have to cross the cut-off marks.
Eligibility:
A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with atleast 50% marks in aggregate with a pass in English. Candidates appearing for 10+2 examination in 2011 can also apply. Also a candidate should not be more than 21 years of age as on August 1st, 2011.

Aspirants can obtain the prospectus cum application form through any Punjab & Sind Banks designated branch from anywhere in India. Furthermore, there are other options to apply through requisite letter along with a Demand Draft within a self addressed envelope. They can also directly download the form through the official website ipu.admissionhelp.com.

* Availability of the Application Forms: 2nd week February, 2011 to April 3rd week, 2011
* Last Date for the receipt of request for form by post: 1st week of April, 2011
* Last Date for the receipt of the completed application forms: 3rd week of April, 2011
