13th Amity Moot Court Competition, 2014

Amity Law School, Delhi is pleased to organize the 13th edition of the Amity Moot Court Competition, 2014 (AMCC).

Date: 28th February - 2nd March, 2014
Venue: Amity Law School, Amity University Campus, Noida

This year's problem will be based on Public International Law, highlighting the emerging legal landscape and would test the legal acumen of the aspiring lawyers of the country in the field of the law of the seas, salvage rights and criminal jurisdiction under International Law.

Sitting Judges, academicians and experts in the field of International Law shall be invited to adjudicate the competition. In the past years, the Semi-Final and Final Rounds of the competition have been judged by a bench of sitting judges of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi.

Eligibility and Team Composition:
All teams shall consist a maximum of three participants [two members designated as 'Speaker' and one member designated as researcher], enrolled as full-time LL.B. [both 3 year and 5 year programme] students in the law school they represent at the time of the Competition. No person enrolled in a postgraduate law programme may act as a team member. A team may however consist of two participants in which case both the members shall be designated as 'Speakers'.

All teams that desire to participate in the competition shall cause the registration form to be filled. A scanned copy of the said form has to be e-mailed to on or before 23:59 hrs IST on 31st October, 2013. Participation will be on first come first served basis only. The maximum number of entries would be restricted to 30. The first 30 teams to be registered will be confirmed of their participation in the competition through email on or before 1st November, 2013. The hard copy of the registration form of those colleges whose participation has been confirmed has to reach the college by registered post (acknowledgement due) or speed post on or before 10th November, 2013. No change of participants will be permitted after the registration form is received by us, except at the sole discretion of the Organising Committee.

Registration Fee:
Each team shall submit a demand draft for Rs. 3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only) in the name of 'Amity Law School' payable at New Delhi as Registration Fee. This demand draft must reach the college along with the Registration Form via registered post or speed post latest by 10th November, 2013. If participation is denied on any ground, this amount will be refunded. However the registration fee will not be refunded after the registration has been accepted by the Organising Committee.

Accommodation will be provided only to participants (not more than three) and shall be for the duration of the competition only i.e. from 28th February to 2nd March 2014. The teams are requested to inform the organizers in advance of their arrival details by filling up the form so as to enable them to make the necessary arrangements. The charges for the extra days will have to be paid by the participants concerned, subject to availability of rooms. No accommodation will be provided for teams from colleges in Delhi and NCR.


  • The last date for submission of soft copy of the Registration Form is 31st October, 2013
  • The last date for submission of hard copy of the Registration Form and Demand Draft is 10th November, 2013
  • The last date for submission of Clarifications is 15th November, 2013
  • The last date for submission of Soft Copy of the Memorial is 15th January, 2014
  • The last date for submission of hard copy of the Memorial is 22nd January, 2014
