The Westlaw NALSAR Inter Varsity Debating Championship IV
The NALSAR Intervarsity Debating Championship is the pioneer of the British Parliamentary Debating format in India. The idea for the NALSAR IV was born to introduce the British Parliamentary debate format to the national debating circuit and provide a preparatory ground for the WUDC (World Universities Debating Championship), the most prestigious debating championship in the world. Thus, the NALSAR IV is aimed at exposing debaters to the most competitive standards of adjudication.
The NALSAR IV is organized by the Literary and Debating Committee of the NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, along with student volunteers who work nights to put up an impeccably organized show.
This year, in order to stay on the debate calendar as a part of the British Parliamentary season; we continue to deliver on that promise with the Westlaw NALSAR I.V. 4.

Registration:
- Each team must consist of 2 debaters.
- Each team must have atleast one adjudicator registered with it. Hence 1 team - 1 adjudicator, 2 teams - 2 adjudicators, and so forth. More adjudicators can be registered if the institution wishes, however the n=1 rule strictly applies.
- The Team Cap is 2 teams per institution, as per rolling basis subject to availability.
Registration Fee:
- Rs. 2200/- per person inclusive of the cost for break-night and accommodation
Accommodation will be provided from the morning of the 20th to the afternoon of the 22nd September.
