School of Law, Christ University International Model United Nations Conference 2013

SLCU MUN 2013 will be the inaugural Model UN conference by School of Law, Christ University.

Date: 1st - 3rd February, 2013

1. United Nations General Assembly
• Situation in the middle East
• The threat of Nuclear proliferation with emphasis on Asia


2. Historic Security Council
• Iranian revolution and hostage crisis


3. United Nations Human Rights Council
• Rights of Journalists and Media persons in conflict zones
• Elimination of Xenophobia and related intolerance


4. Emergency Economic Council
• [The existing debt crisis will form the basis for this council. However, it continues to remain a Continuous Crisis Committee].
• The Case problems for the International Court of Arbitration will be released shortly. Stay tuned.
