International Environmental Law is one of the most dynamic fields of International Law and is an essential part of today's global legal regime. Much of the modern body of environmental law has been developed internationally through the adoption of various conventions & legal instruments. At the moment, there are nearly nine hundred international legal instruments either primarily directed to international environmental issues or containing important environmental law provisions.
Developing countries such as India constantly face the daunting task of implementing these legal instruments and Multilateral Environmental Agreements. Organizations, both international and national are thus always on the lookout for researchers, lawyers and consultants proficient in environmental law.
