Kuvempu University: LL.M Admission through Distance Education Mode

Offering higher education through Distance Mode is another important step taken by Kuvempu University so as to help student community in their zeal for pursuing Post - Graduate studies. The necessity of this was felt by the University when larger number of students, who wanted seats for P.G. Studies, could not be accommodated in our regular P.G. Programmes.

The University believes that Distance Education is an equally good avenue to be made available to interested students. The Degrees offered by the Directorate of Distance Education are equivalent to that of regular degrees. The DDE is offering a total number of 40 courses directly in various faculties at the U.G., P.G. and Diploma levels.

Eligibility for LL.M:
Any graduate shall be eligible for Post Graduate Courses and any candidate who has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized Board of Education shall be eligible for admission to Under Graduate Courses.

Prospectus & Application forms:
Prospectus & Application forms can be obtained from THE DIRECTOR, DIRECTORATE OF DISTANCE EDUCATION, Kuvempu University, Jnana Sahyadri Shankaraghatta - 577 451, Karnataka in person OR by sending a requisition along with a self addressed envelope of size 10x12 inch with postal stamps worth Rs. 40/- affixed on the envelope, and a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 150/-towards the cost of Prospectus & Application form, drawn in favour of The FINANCE OFFICER, Kuvempu University, payable at State Bank of Mysore. Jnana Sahyadri/ State Bank of India. Shankaraghatta/ Any Nationalised Bank payable at Shimoga and addressed to the Director, DDE. Amount in any other form like M.OV I.P.O. etc., will not be accepted.

The last date for receipt of filled in applications along with the Admission/Registration fees without fine is 30th Oct, 2012, with late fee of Rs. 100/- 30th Nov, 2012 and with late fee of Rs. 300/- is 31st Dec, 2012. Applications received after the due dates are liable to be rejected.
