NLU Lucknow MUN 2012
MUN, or Model United Nations, is an academic simulation of a United Nations Conference, simulating various organs of the United Nations, such as, the UN Security Council, Human Rights Council, ECOSOC, etc.
In this simulation, students take on the role of ambassadors of various countries in their respective committees to discuss issues of international importance, such as International Security, Human Rights, Climate Change, Food and Hunger, Poverty and other Millennium Development Goals which are part of the agenda in the United Nations.
Every MUN also works according to Formal Rules of Procedure that sets it apart from any other event in the world. Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya, National Law University joins the league by organizing the first ever Model United Nations Conference.
