ASSOCHAM is organizing a Seminar on "Regulatory Issues in Renewable Energy". With the energy security concerns and climate change mitigation issues assuming greater significance in policy formulation and strategy framework for the Government and business entities, renewable energy has become an important component of India's energy planning process.

The development of grid interactive renewable power essentially depends on regulatory intervention for promotion of renewable energy under the provision of Electricity Act 2003. However, renewable energy regulations which has been developed in recent time has to evolve to facilitate speedy deployment of renewable energy.
