The International Air Law Moot Court Competition 2013 - National Rounds
The Sarin Memorial Legal Aid Foundation has been established in the fond memory of Late Shri H.L. Sarin, Senior Advocate and Late Shri. R.L. Sarin, Advocate. The Sarin Memorial Legal Aid Foundation and the International Institute of Air and Space Law, Leiden University are proud to announce the the organisation of the National India Rounds of the second Leiden Sarin International Air Law Moot Court Competition 2013. The same are being held in Chandigarh at the Army Institute of Law dates are to be announced shortly.
The third edition of the International Air Law Moot Court Competition which took place in Istanbul, Turkey, from 15th to 18th March, 2012 was a very successful event with several teams participating who presented fantastic arguments while our Turkish hosts generously and graciously received all the participants and the judges.

Summary Rules and Procedures:
The 2013 edition is held in cooperation with Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Each institution is allowed to participate with one team. Participating students may be enrolled in LL.M. programmes. Doctoral students are excluded from participation. Each team shall have a Faculty Adviser. Each team must submit memorials for both the Applicant and the Respondent. The Oral argumentation will take place between 9th-12th March, 2013 in Abu- Dhabi, UAE. The Board of Review scoring the briefs and the Semi-Finals panels will be composed of leading authorities in the field of air law. The Final Bench will be composed of the most prominent experts in this field.
The costs of participation are borne by the participating teams. There is no additional registration fee. During the Semi-Finals and Finals in Abu Dhabi certain events will be sponsored.
