MLS International Moot Court Competition 2012
Mats Law School, Raipur takes a great honor in extending an invitation to all the law colleges to participate in its MLS International Moot Court Competition 2012, to be held from 23rd to 25th November, 2012. MATS Law School, MATS University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India is organizing an International Trade Law Moot Court Competition. The competition shall be over a span of three days.
The competition aims at providing a firsthand exposure to the practical aspects of the legal profession to the students participating in the event. Mats Law School firmly believes in the holistic development of students through mooting. The MLS International Moot Court Competition, 2012 will give recognition to the best mooting talents from across the world. This year's case is based on International Trade law.

Eligibility for Participation:
The Competition is open to all students, enrolled on a regular basis in an Undergraduate law course or its equivalent conducted by any recognized Institution/College/University.
Registration:
The Registration Fee for participating teams shall be Rs. 2000 (Two Thousand Only) INR. Indian Teams must make payment either by Demand Draft or Bank Transfer. The Demand Draft shall be made in favor of "MATS University" payable at Raipur. Payment by International Teams must be made via Bank Transfer.
Team Composition:
- Each team shall consist of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 members. This number cannot be altered under any circumstances.
- Each team shall include two speakers, who may be accompanied by one researcher, all of whom shall have to be accordingly designated during the registration process. Each team will have a team code and each member shall be given an individual code. The team code shall be sent to the teams through e-mails. The respective team codes have to be mentioned in the right top corner of the cover page of the Written Submissions.
- Only those teams who send the Memorial and Counter-Memorial will be allowed to participate in the competition.
- In case of any contingency the researcher may substitute the speaker only with prior permission.
Accommodation, Food and Transport:
Accommodation, Food and Local Transportation to the participating teams will be provided by MATS Law School only during the competition. The name and mobile number of the student volunteer in charge of transport / accommodation will also be provided after finalization.
