Legal Research Symposium 2013 on Property, Construction, Planning and the Environment in association with the COBRA 2013 Research Conference
The event will take place in New Delhi, India, at the annual COBRA research conference, hosted by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

A formal call for papers will be circulated in October 2012, seeking contributions in the following streams:
- Property Law
- Construction Law
- Environmental Law
- Housing Law
- Planning Law
- Building Regulation & Control
- Alternative Dispute Resolution
- Professional Liability & Ethics
- Legal Education in Property & Construction
- International & Comparative Law
Provisional dates to be confirmed:
- Abstract submission deadline: 1st March, 2013
- Paper submission deadline: 1st July, 2013
- Conference dates: 9th September, 2013
Publication in peer-reviewed journal:
A number of journal-quality articles based on papers presented during the symposium will also be published in the International Journal of Law in the Built Environment (http://www.emeraldinsight.com/ijlbe.htm).
Authors who are interested in submitting a high quality manuscript to the journal arising out of their symposium contribution should therefore
- Communicate their intention to the editor at the time of submitting their final conference paper. Manuscripts must strictly conform to the journal's published author guidelines and
- Should be submitted via its online submission facility within 2 months of the conference taking place.
