Conference on Managing Innovations and Successful Commercialisation of Intellectual Property Assets
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is organizing a Conference on "Managing Innovations and Successful Commercialisation of Intellectual Property Assets", in cooperation with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and National Bar Association of India (NBAI).
Date: 24th - 25th July, 2012
Venue: Hotel Lalit, Mumbai
It is proposed that the Conference will be inaugurated by Honb'le Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Prithviraj Chavan.
The conference will have discussion on best strategies to leverage Intellectual Property among the (large, medium and small) businesses in India. The conference will enable IP thought-leaders to focus on key elements to boost and manage innovations, strategies to protect and effectively manage and commercialize IP assets etc.
The programme is proposed to be attended by the representatives from Government, researchers, MSMEs innovators, academicians, Industry, Legal practitioners and Knowledge Process Outsourcing etc.
To meet the expenses of the Conference, participation fee of Rs. 8500 will be charged from the Indian participants. A fee of USD 200 per international participant has been fixed. A 10 percent discount will be offered to students, academicians and MSMEs.
The participants will be provided the conference kit, including, background material, lunch and tea/coffee. A participation certificate will also be given to the delegate jointly by FICCI and NBAI. Also, 30% fee waiver will be given to delegates to FICCI online course on IP.
