Inter University Centre for IPR Studies, CUSAT - Fellowships for M.Phil / Ph.D
The Inter University Centre for IPR Studies (IUCIPRS) offers short term fellowships for M.Phil/Ph.D scholars in IPR related areas who have already registered in any recognized Universities in India.
The objective of this short term fellowship is to facilitate M.Phil / Ph.D students registered for M.Phil/Ph.D in IPR related areas in any discipline in any recognized University in India other than CUSAT to utilize the resources in the IUCIPRS and interact with the faculty. Preference may be given for students who are in the advanced stage of research. Those interested may apply in the prescribed form.
At the end of the programme the student shall submit a report of the work done during his/her stay at IUCIPRS and also make a presentation on his/her topic of research.
Application Details:
The students shall send the request with the following:
- Name and address;
- Name and address of the institution;
- Name of course registered with proof;
- Copy of the research proposal;
- Brief report of the progress of work
- List of publications, if any
- Schedule of the work during stay in IUCIPRS;
- Undertaking that the student shall abide by the rules and regulations of IUCIPRS during the stay;
- Recommendation from the supervising guide/head of the department
The course fee is Rs. 5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) per month for a maximum period of three months.

Procedure for Selection:
Selection to the fellowship is based on the quality of research proposal and the progress made in the research. Preference will be given to students in the advanced stage of research. The suitability of the candidate will be determined by a committee consisting of the Director and two faculty members of the IUCIPRS.
