Eligibility for Entrance Test 2012:
BBA LLB (5 years) & BA LLB (5 years):
Minimum marks in qualifying examination for admission - As prescribed by Bar Council of India, Rules of Legal Education 2008, the applicant shall have passed 10 + 2 or an examination recognized as equivalent there to and have obtained 45% of the total marks in case of general category and 40% of the total marks in case of SC & ST applicants.
Age on admission - The maximum age for seeking admission into stream of 5 years bachelor degree course in Law is limited to 20 years, in general category. In case of SC, ST and others Backward Class applicants, it is limited to 22 years.
LLB (3 years):
Minimum marks in qualifying examination for admission - As prescribed by Bar Council of India, Rules of Legal Education 2008, the applicant shall have passed the Bachelor's Degree in any of the faculties of any recognized University or an examination recognized as equivalent there to and have obtained 45% of the total marks in case of general category and 40% of the total marks in case of SC & ST applicants.
Age on admission - The maximum age for seeking admission into stream of 3 years bachelor degree course in Law is limited to 30 years, in general category. In case of SC, ST and others Backward Class applicants, it is limited to 35 years.
Direct Application:
Purchase the Entrance Information Brochure from the Office of any of the Constituent Units of Bharati Vidyapeeth University (Price Rs. 200/-). Read all the contents related to the course, eligibility, nature of examination etc. Ensure that you have enclosed with your form a Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank of the exact amount mentioned in the Brochure. D.D. should be drawn in the name of "Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune." Please ensure that the draft is properly signed by two bank officers.
Submit the completed application form along with DD in person to Bharati Vidyapeeth University, CET Section, 2nd Floor, Bharati Vidyapeeth Bhavan, L.B.S. Marg, Sadashiv Peth, Pune-411 030 or send it by post.
On receipt of the form completed in all respects, an admit card will be generated. You will receive the Admit Card across the counter or it will be sent to you by post on your address given in your form.
