Workshop on LLP - the new way of doing business in India
The Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) concept has attracted keen interest from Indian groups who have either set up new LLPs or converted existing companies into LLPs. Given the tax and regulatory construct of LLPs along with the opening up of foreign investments, LLPs present themselves as a powerful opportunity to structure businesses in India. As the LLP presents a business structure it also raises concerns related to compliance, clarity on tax structure governance issues etc.
The workshop seeks a holistic view on using LLPs as a new legal structure for businesses and transactions in India as is being done globally.
