Saveetha University - Admission to B.A., B.L., (Hons.)

Admission Procedure:
The admission for B.A. B.L. (Hons.) is based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the Under Graduate Qualifying Examination and the performance in the Entrance Examination. The Entrance Examination will be held on 9th June, 2012 at 10.00 am at the Examination Hall, Saveetha University, 162, Poonamallee High Road, Chennai - 600 077.

Eligibility:

Course Duration:
The duration of the course is five academic years. The academic year commences in the month of July every year.

Issue of Application:
The Application and Prospectus for B.A. B.L. (Hons.) will be issued from the University office from 1st Feb, 2012 onwards. Applications can be obtained on payment of Rs.500/- D.D. taken in favour of "Saveetha University", payable at Chennai in person, (or) D.D. for Rs.550/- for by Post.

Applications can also be downloaded and the completed application forms should be accompanied by a D.D. for Rs.500/- taken in favor of Saveetha University, payable at Chennai.

Completed Application form with attested photocopy of the 10, +2 mark sheets should reach 'The Director of Admissions, Saveetha University, 162, P.H. Road, Chennai - 600 077 on or before 30th May, 2012.

Entrance Examination:
The Entrance Examination Ticket will be sent by post to the eligible applicants before 4th June, 2012. Those who have not received the Hall Ticket by 4th June, 2012 can contact 'The Director of Admissions' by phone 044-26801050 or email: admission@saveetha.com

The Entrance examination will be held in the Conference Hall on 9th June, 2012 at 10.00 a.m at Saveetha University, 162, Poonamallee High Road, Chennai - 600 077. The admission will be done purely on merit, based on the performance in the Entrance Examination. Seat allotment will be done based on the rank list subject to fulfillment of the eligibility criteria. The course will commence on 5th July, 2012. The students should report for classes at Saveetha School of Law, 162, Poonamallee High Road, Chennai - 600 077 on 5th July, 2012 at 09.00 am.

Counseling Schedule:
The Counseling for Law students will be held on 20th June, 2012 at 10.00 am at Saveetha University,162, Poonamallee High Road, Chennai - 600 077. The call letter for counseling will be sent by post to the selected candidates. The selected candidates should pay the fees and complete the admission procedures by 30th June, 2012.

The vacant seats will be filled in order from the wait listed candidates. The candidate should be present for the counseling accompanied by a parent / guardian at appointed date and time without fail.
