Environment Law Research Society's Workshop on Right to Sanitation: Call for Papers
The Environmental Law Research Society (ELRS), New Delhi is an independent, non-profit organization focusing on environmental law and policy research and capacity building advocacy.
ELRS is organizing a workshop to consider issues relating to the realization of the right to sanitation in India. ELRS is organizing a National Workshop on realization of the Right to Sanitation in India - Challenges and Way Forward at New Delhi, on 27th & 28th July, 2012.
Call for Papers:
ELRS invites submissions of abstracts on topic related to the theme of the workshop.
This may include one of the following topics:
- Right to Sanitation
- Social Aspects of Sanitation [such as caste, untouchability, manual scavenging, sewage workers]
- Environmental Aspects of Sanitation [such as water pollution, land pollution, public health]
The abstracts must be in English or Hindi (500 words maximum) and it must summarize briefly the scope and content of the paper proposed. The abstract must include the author(s)' title, affiliation, email and mailing address. All abstracts must be submitted electronically to sanitation@elrs.in with the subject 'Right to Sanitation Workshop - July 2012'.
Workshop:
The workshop will be centered on the written papers sent in advance by participants. All papers presented at the workshop will be published in the workshop proceedings, provided they are received by the date for submission of final papers (see Important Dates). In addition, all authors may submit their papers for inclusion in a peer-reviewed publication. Detailed information on paper publication will be provided to authors of accepted papers.
