National Law School of India University, Bangalore - Admission for Foreign Nationals

Notification for Admission to U.G. and P.G. Programmes under Foreign Nationals Category 2012 - 13

Applications are invited for admission to Under-graduate [(B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)] Degree Programme and Post-graduate (LL.M.) Degree Programme for the Academic Year 2012-13 under Foreign Nationals Category


  • B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Degree Programme: Should have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10 + 2) system or an examination equivalent thereto securing, in the aggregate, not less than 50% of the total marks.
  • LL.M. Degree Programme: Should have passed the LL.B. Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University and should have secured not less than 55% of marks.
  • Common to both: If the medium of instruction is not English, the candidates are required to satisfy the requirement of proficiency in English language.

General Instructions:
The candidates can download, fill the application form and send it to the Registrar, National Law School of India University, Nagarbhavi, Bangalore - 560 072 along with a fee of $150. The last date for submitting the filled in application along with the enclosures is 31st March, 2012 without fail; failing which the application will not be accepted. Foreign nationals will be admitted directly on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination, overall academic record and command over English language. Preference will be given to the candidates from SAARC countries and other developing countries.
