Eligibility:
B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) / B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) / B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) - 5 year Integrated Programme:
- 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks (CBSE, ISC, State Boards, IB, Cambridge and other Govt. Recognised Boards) and LSAT-India Exam. Jindal Global Law School does not accept any other law school admissions test.
- LSAT-India is an entrance test designed by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC), USA, LSAC's affiliate in India. The test will be in a multiple choice format and covers logical reasoning, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.
B.A. (Hons.) Legal Studies / B.A. (Hons.) Criminology and Criminal Justice - 3 year Programme:
- To be eligible for admission to the B.A. Criminology and Criminal Justice programme at JGLS, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent from CBSE, ISC, state boards, IB, Cambridge or other government-recognized boards with a minimum of 45% marks.
- In addition to this, they must have also appeared for and qualified the JSAT-Law Admission Test conducted by Pearson VUE. Students who are currently in their final year of 10+2 and will complete it in 2024 are also eligible to apply. It is worth noting that this programme is open to students from any academic background, including Arts, Commerce, and Science.
LL.B. (Hons.) - 3 year Programme:
- Applicant to the 3-year Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) Programme at JGLS must hold a Bachelor's degree with not less than 45% aggregate marks from any recognised university (national or international). This course is open to students from all disciplines as there are no pre-requisites in terms of the courses undertaken at the Bachelor's level.
- Admission is strictly based on LSAT India entrance exam.

LL.M. - 1 year Programme:
The admission process for the LL.M. programme comprises two steps. Firstly, candidates need to appear for one of the following entrance examinations, which will carry a weightage of 70% in the admission process:
- LSAT-India Entrance Test 2024: Interested candidates can register for the online LSAT-India entrance test and obtain further information on the same by visiting the following link: https://www.discoverlaw.in
- CLAT PG Entrance Test 2024
- Candidates can register for the LSAT-India 2024 entrance test at https://pearsonvue.excelindia.com/lsatindia/.
- Once registered, candidates must submit their Statement of Purpose, Academic documents and Curriculum Vitae online at https://lawadmissions.jgu.edu.in/
Ph.D. in Law - 3 year Programme:
- LLM with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade. Professional qualification such as CA/ ICWA/ CFA/ CS (both 5 year integrated or 3 years after graduation) with minimum 55% marks.
- Master's degree in a discipline relevant to the proposed research with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- Applicants with more than 3 years industry/ teaching/ practicing/ managerial/ professional experience will be given preference.
- Relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/Differently-Abled categories or for those who had obtained their Master's degree prior to 19th September, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace mark procedures.
Application Fees:
- Applicants of 5 year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) / B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) / B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) programmes are required to make Undergraduate programme application fees of INR 1000/-
- Applicants for 3 year LL.B. (Hons.) / 1 year LL.M. programmes are required to make Postgraduate programmes application fees of INR 1000/-.
