Conference on Intellectual Property Rights: A way ahead for IT and ITES
The Conference gives an insight into the Intellectual protection of IT and ITES Industries. It attempts to discuss the various issues, typically encountered by the Software Industries like Software Patents, Copyright, Data protection, Software Piracy and the Licensing. The Conference focuses on the pros and cons in the software patents and in Copyright protection.
The conference brings out the consequences, the software patents has on the research and development of a software industry. It also addresses the lacuna in the Data Protection Act and also the legal issues involved in the Software piracy. Besides, the Conference discusses about the Software Licensing and their associated IP.
