Ajeenkya DY Patil University - Admission 2023

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to 5 year Integrated B.A. LL.B., 3 year LL.B. and 1 year LL.M. programme at School of Law, Ajeenkya DY Patil University for the academic year 2023-24.

Courses Offered:

  • B.A. LL.B. - 5 year Integrated Programme
  • LL.B. - 3 year Programme
  • LL.M. - 1 year Programme

Eligibility:

B.A. LL.B. - 5 year Integrated Programme:

  • Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to the reserved category).
  • ACET for law
  • Personal Interview

LL.B. - 3 year Programme:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to the reserved category)
  • ACET for law
  • Personal Interview

LL.M. - 1 year Programme:

  • LL.B. or an Equivalent Degree with 50% marks.
  • ACET for law
  • Personal Interview

ADYPU Common Entrance Test:

  • All students should register for the ACET on the website: www.adypu.edu.in.
  • Ensure that you fill-in all updated and accurate information in the online registration form. Ensure that the spellings of your name match with those on your academic and other credentials. Upload your latest scanned color passport size photo for the online registration as it is mandatory for the ACET (Entrance Test) registration. (The photo should not be older than 6 months).
  • Students need to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2000/- for the registration process. If the student does not make payment for the registration, the registration would be considered as incomplete. The online payments would be accepted on or before the dates of registrations. Note: ACET fee is non-refundable.
  • Please note that the test score of ACET (Entrance Test) will be valid for the current academic year only. Admission to programs at ADYP University is based on the candidate's performance in ACET (Entrance Test) and subsequent qualifying tests like Studio Test, Group Discussion, Personal Interview, etc.
  • The ACET is mandatory for all ADYP University Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs offered by different schools under ADYP University.

How to Apply:

  • STEP 1: Check The Eligibility
    • The eligibility for each of the program offered by the University is different and is based on the program curriculum. Before applying, check the eligibility for that program
  • STEP 2: Application Process
    • The application process has two stages:
    • At the Stage One, The aspiring candidate registers online and appears for ACET (ADYPU Common Entrance Test).

    • At Stage One, The aspiring candidate registers online and appears for ACET online.
    • The candidates are short-listed based on their performance in the ACET. Our Academic Counselor will call the shortlisted candidate within 3 working days for scheduling the Personal Interview.
    • At Stage two, candidates are invited to the ADYPU campus for a Counseling Session and a personal interview. For MBA programs, candidates have to appear for Group Discussion and for Design programs candidates are required to give a Studio test. The students have to bring along with them the Statement of Purpose (SOP), certificates of extracurricular activities if any.
    • It is essential to attend the Second Stage for each student who qualified through the ACET. The student selection is based on the cumulative performance of students in both the first and the second rounds.
  • STEP 3: Admission Offer
    • After the personal interview is conducted, the prospective student is informed about the admission decision. If the admission decision is positive, an admission offer letter is issued. If the admission decision is negative, the prospective student is informed about the deficiencies and is given time to remedy the deficiencies if deficiencies are of remedial nature.
  • STEP 4: Acceptance of Admission Form
    • ADYPU and the student form a contractual relationship when a student is enrolled at ADYPU. What follows are the terms of that contract in which the students accept to govern the mutual relationship, along with statutes, and with the regulations and rules of ADYPU. On being offered an admission to a course at ADYPU, the student has to sign an "Acceptance of Admission Form".
