Jiwaji University, Gwalior - Admission Notification 2010-11
Applications in prescribed forms are invited for LL.B Hons (Entrance Test Based Courses) and LL.M (Non-Entrance Test Based Courses).
LLB Hons:
Admission will be done on the basis of Entrance Test conducted by the university.
Eligibility: Higher secondary (10 + 2) / Intermediate or equivalent with 40% marks. As per the government rules the upper age limit for admission to undergraduate courses is 22 years as on July 01, 2010.

L.L.M (Two years / Four semester):
Admission will be done on the basis of Merit In Index prepared based on marks obtained in qualifying examination. If some seats remain vacant in non-entrance test based courses, candidates who have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination can be given admission. But in such cases, no candidate (whatever category he/she belongs to) who has secured below 45% will be admitted.
Eligibility: Law graduate with 55% marks. Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from universities other than Jiwaji University are required to submit 'Eligibility Certificate'. As per the government rules the upper age limit for admission to postgraduate courses is 27 years as on July 01, 2010. There is no upper age limit for female candidates for L.L.M courses.

How to Apply:
Application form can be collected from the university sale-counters by depositing Rs 500/- in cash / DD. To obtain a prospectus-cum-application form by post, request may be sent to the 'Registrar, Jiwaji University, Gwalior-474011' or download or can submit it online through mponline. The completed form must be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 570/- in favour of 'Registrar, Jiwaji University Gwalior' payable at Gwalior.
For each course a separate application form has to be submitted and with each application form an additional application fee of Rs. 200/- has to be deposited, either by cash or by demand draft in favour of 'Registrar, Jiwaji University Gwalior'. Please refer the prospectus for details concerning eligibility, admission criterion, admission process, reservation policies, Fees structure etc. Reservation will be as per MP Govt. / University rules.

LLM: The list of the candidates eligible for admission in order of merit in the Non-Entrance-Test-Based Courses (Category II) will be displayed on the Notice Boards of the respective Schools of Studies on July 07, 2010 by the evening and such candidates shall be eligible for counseling. All the eligible candidates whose names appear in the above mentioned lists shall report for counseling in the respective School of Studies on July 10, 2010 at 12:30 A.M. He/she is required to bring the original documents mentioned by the University.
