RGNUL's "Training of Trainers" Program on International Criminal Law
The Centre for Advanced Study in International Humanitarian Law (CASH) at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala, Punjab is organizing a Training of the Trainers Programme on International Criminal Law primarily for the educators, advocates, social workers, human rights activists, distinguished postgraduate students (Ph.D., M. Phil., L.L.M, etc.) working in the fields of International Law, International Humanitarian Law, International Relations, Human Rights, Political Science and Social Work.

Themes:
The programme will be conducted by the experts working on the issues relating to International Criminal Law. The programme shall be conducted in the English language, will tentatively cover the following topics:
- Evolution and Development of ICL
- General Principles of the ICL
- Genocide, War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity
- International Criminal Court
- Transitional Justice
- Addressing Needs of Special Groups - Children, Victims and Witnesses, and Women
- Enforcement of ICL through Domestic Legal Mechanisms
Registration Fees:
Rs. 1000 per participant; to be paid on the spot. Registration fee includes Programme fees, Accommodation and food during these three days. Accommodation will be provided at the RGNUL Campus to all the participants.
Selected participants will be informed about their selection by 31st December, 2011 along with the programme brochure, detailed schedule.
