Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) - 2010 results announced

The Common Law Entrance Test (CLAT) conducted by the National Law University for admission to under graduate programs and post graduate programs in various prestigious universities (NLSIU-Bangalore, NALSAR-Hyderabad, NLIU-Bhopal, WBNUJS-Kolkata, NLU-Jodhpur, HNLU-Raipur, GNLU-Gandhinagar, RMLNLU-Lucknow, RGNUL-Patiala, CNLU-Patna and NUALS-Kochi) has announced the results on 29th May, 2010. The CLAT 2010 was conducted on 9th may, 2010.

The offer of admission by the CLAT 2010 is provisional and does not create any right to admission in favor of the candidate. Candidates provisionally allotted to a particular National Law University based on merit-cum- preference (from the first list announced on 29th May 2010) are required to confirm their willingness to take admission in the allotted University by depositing a sum of Rupees 25000/- , non- refundable but adjustable in the fee payable at the time of admission, with any specified core branch of the State Bank of India (Account Number: 30996486741) latest by 8th June 2010. Failure to deposit the sum of Rupees 25000/- by the given date shall be treated as if the candidate is not interested in the admission and his / her claim to admission shall automatically stands cancelled and the seat will be allotted to the next candidate in order of merit-cum-preference.

Preference given by the candidates in the application form is final and cannot be changed. List of waitlisted candidates may be announced as soon as the number of vacant seats is finalized by CLAT 2010. The waitlisted candidates are required to pay the full fee and complete the admission formalities on or before the date(s) specified by CLAT 2010. After the admissions are closed by the CLAT 2010, no one shall be admitted even if a seat remains vacant. Expected dates of completion of admission at the allotted University would be 28th - 30th June 2010.
