O.P. Jindal Global Law School - Admission 2022

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to 5 year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), 3 year B.A. (Hons.) in Legal Studies, 3 year LL.B. (Hons.), 1 year LL.M. and 3 year Ph.D. in Law programme at Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University for the academic year 2022-23.

Eligibility:

B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) / B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)/ B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) - 5 year Integrated Programme:

• 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks (CBSE, ISC, state boards, IB, Cambridge and other Government recognised boards) and LSAT-India Exam. Jindal Global Law School does not accept any other law school admissions test.
• LSAT-India is an entrance test designed by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC), the USA LSAC's affiliate in India. The test will be in a multiple choice format and covers logical reasoning, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.

B.A. (Hons.) Legal Studies - 3 year Programme:

• 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks. (CBSE, ISC, state boards, IB, Cambridge and other Govt. recognised boards), JSAT-Law examination or equivalent with not less than 45% aggregate marks.
• Admission is based on the basis of performance in the entrance examination (Law School Admission Test (LSAT) - India / JSAT-Law entrance exam).

Note: LSAT-India 2021 exam is also accepted for admission to the 3-year B.A.- Legal Studies, LLB 3-year and LLM 1-year programmes. Those who have already registered for LSAT-India 2021 exam may not need to write JSAT-Law Exam.

LL.B. (Hons.) - 3 year Programme:

• Applicant to the 3-year Bachelor of Laws LL.B. (Hons.) at JGLS must hold a Bachelor's degree with not less than 45% aggregate marks from any recognised University (National or International). This course is open to students from all disciplines as there are no pre-requisites in terms of the courses undertaken at the Bachelor's level.
• Admission is strictly based on LSAT India Law entrance exam.
• LSAT-India is an entrance test designed by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC), the USA LSAC's affiliate in India. The test will be in a multiple-choice format and covers logical reasoning, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.

LL.M. - 1 year Programme:

• Three year LL.B. or Five year B.A. LL.B. with not less than 45% aggregate marks

Ph.D. in Law - 3 year Programme:

• LL.M. with atleast 55% marks or an equivalent grade. Professional qualification such as CA / ICWA / CFA / CS (both 5 year integrated or 3 years after graduation) with minimum 55% marks.
• Master's Degree in a discipline relevant to the proposed research with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• Applicants with more than 3 years industry / teaching / practicing / managerial / professional experience will be given preference.
• Relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST / Differently-abled categories or for those who had obtained their Master's Degree prior to 19th September, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace mark procedures.

Application Fees:

• Applicants of 5 year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) / B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) / B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) programmes are required to make Undergraduate programme application fees of INR 1500/-
• Applicants for 3 year LL.B. (Hons.) / 1 year LL.M. programmes are required to make Postgraduate programmes application fees of INR 1000/-.
