Faculty of Law, ICFAI University, Dehradun offers three year LL.B Program and five years Integrated BBA, LL.B (Hons.) Program
Eligibility Criteria
LL.B: Applicants should not be more than 30 years of age as on the date of admission test. Students who pass with 50% and above in graduation or its equivalent (any discipline).Candidates awaiting final year examinations results are also eligible for admission. Admissions are based on ICFAI University Law Admission Test (ILAT) conducted all over India. Law School Admission Test (LSAT, India conducted by Pearson, VUE) scores are also accepted.
BBA, LL.B (Hons.): Applicants should not be more than 21 years of age as on the date of admission test. Students who pass with 50% and above in 10+2 or 11+1 or its equivalent (candidates awaiting final year examinations results are also eligible for admission). Admissions are based on the Icfai University Law Admission Test (ILAT) conducted all over India. Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)/Law School Admission Test (LSAT, India conducted by Pearson, VUE) scores are also accepted.
Students appearing in the final year examinations are also eligible to appear in the Admission Test for consideration of provisional admission. All students who are offered provisional admission will be required to produce the proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent/ Graduation whichever is applicable) on or before September 01, 2010, failing which such provisional admission will stand cancelled.
Admission Procedure for candidates appearing in ILAT 2010:
Admission into the Law Programs is through ILAT 2010 conducted by Faculty of Law, Dehradun. ILAT 2010 is scheduled on July 04, 2010 (Sunday) from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM at 35 test centers all over India. Applicants are required to report at 9.00 AM at the test center on the day of ILAT 2010. The Admission Test is based on objective type questions in multiple choice format.
Online Admit Card (For ILAT 2010 only):
All applicants who have submitted their filled in application forms for ILAT 2010 have to download online admit cards progressively from June 12, 2010 onwards at website using the five digit application number and date of birth as user name and password respectively. The online admit card will carry the photo, name, address, roll number of the applicant and the test date, timings and details of the test center. No hard copies of admit cards will be sent by post. The admit card is not transferable to any other person and is valid only for the test centers for which it is issued. Impersonation is a punishable offence under law. Candidates applying for admission on the basis of CLAT 2010/LSAT 2010 are not required to write ILAT 2010. However, they may also appear for both ILAT 2010 and CLAT 2010/LSAT 2010, in order to enhance the chance of getting admission in Faculty of Law, Dehradun.

ILSAT 2010 Results (available on website): Results of ILAT 2010 will be announced on the website www.iuuttarakhand.edu.in/fol at 8 PM (IST) on July 10, 2010. The successful applicants will also be individually intimated through web/post.

Payment of Admission Fee (on or before): July 31, 2010
Payment of first Semester fee (on or before): July 31, 2010
Reporting for Admission : August 02, 2010
Commencement of Classes : August 03, 2010
