The National Law University, Orissa, at Cuttack, is a premier Law University established by the National Law University Orissa Act of 2008 and is a member of the existing group of National Law Universities of India. It is situated in one of the oldest cities of India, Cuttack that retains an old world charm as well as exudes a modern flavour being the twin city of Bhubaneswar. NLUO can be reached in approximately 40 minutes from the Biju Patnaik International Airport at Bhubaneswar. In its first year the university already has students from 22 states justifying its national character. The university invites applications for five years integrated B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A.LL.B (Hons.) Degree Programmes for the academic year 2010-2011, commencing on 5th July, 2010.

Eligibility:
Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 system) or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. (SC / ST candidates can apply with 45% marks). Those who have appeared for the qualifying examination in March / April, 2010 may also apply). The candidate should be below 21 years as on 1st August 2010 (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates)
Total seats:
60 seats each for B.A. L.L.B (Hons.) and B.B.A. L.L.B (Hons.)
Admissions will be strictly on merit through an all India entrance examination to be conducted at Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Cochin, Cuttack, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patiala, Patna, Raipur and Jaipur on 10th May, 2010(Monday), from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. If sufficient number of applications are not received for a centre, the university reserves the right to cancel the said centre and shift the applicants of that centre to another centre.
The Application forms can be purchased from designated SBI Branches, by paying Rs.1,500/- (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred only) for General Candidates and Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) in case of SC and ST Candidates excluding bank charges. List of designated SBI branches is available at www.nluo.ac.in. Completed Application Forms must reach the Registrar, National Law University, Orissa, CB-8, Cantonment Road, Cuttack-753001, Orissa, by post/courier, on or before 30th April, 2010 in the envelope provided for this purpose. Applications received after the last date shall not be entertained. The university will not be responsible for any loss or delay.
Last year's NLUO Admission Test paper will be available to students on payment of Rs. 250/- (Two Hundred and fifty only) by bank draft/DD in favour of "The Registrar, National Law University, Orissa" payable at Cuttack.
