Asian Law College - Admission 2021

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to 5 year integrated B.A. LL.B. and 3 year LL.B. programme at Asian Law College for the academic year 2021-22.

Courses Offered:

  • B.A. LL.B. - 5 year Integrated Programme
  • LL.B. - 3 year Programme

Eligibility:
B.A. LL.B. - 5 year integrated programme:

  • The student should have passed senior secondary school examination or an examination equivalent thereto, securing not less than 45% (40% in the case of SC / ST U.P. Domicile) in aggregate.
  • The students should be appearing or have appeared for the annual examinations in March / April of the current academic year.

Note:

  • The afore-mentioned rules are subject to the guidelines issued by CCS University and Bar Council of India.
  • The College reserves the right to cancel the admission of any student in accordance with the rules and regulations.
  • Students who fail to clear the qualifying examination (ALCAT) will not be considered eligible for admission in this course.

LL.B. - 3 year programme:
A student shall be eligible for admission for 3 year LL.B. Degree Course in Law if he / she has graduated in any discipline of knowledge from a University established by an Act of Parliament or by State Legislature or an equivalent national institute recognized as a Deemed University or a Foreign University recognized as equivalent to the status of an Indian University by an authority competent to declare equivalent provided that:

  • Such student must have obtained minimum 45% marks in the aggregate in the qualifying 3 year bachelor degree examinations.
  • Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe or other backward classes shall be eligible to apply if they secure at least 40% marks in the said qualifying examination

Admission Criteria:
B.A. LL.B. - 5 year integrated programme:
Candidates interested in B.A.LL.B. are supposed to register for Asian Law College Admission Test (ALCAT) conducted at Asian Law College. ALCAT is designed to evaluate the candidates in Quantitative Technique, General Awareness, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning and English Language.

LL.B. - 3 year programme:
Candidates interested in LL.B. are supposed to register for Asian Law College Admission Test (ALCAT) conducted at Asian Law College. ALCAT is designed to evaluate the candidates in Quantitative Technique, General Awareness, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning and English Language.

Selection Process:
The CCS University Form has to be filled in and submitted to the institute. The institute will shortlist the candidates and process a Merit List on the basis of the overall performance of candidate who shall be allotted seats on the basis of merit.
