European Association of Psychology and Law Conference (EAPL2012)

The annual conference of the European Association of Psychology and Law is to be held in Nicosia, Cyprus, from 10th to 13th April 2012, at the old, beguiling campus of the University of Cyprus in the city centre.

Theoretical papers are invited on all areas of Psychology and Law, but with an emphasis on providing solutions to problems identified. The main fields to be addressed are: law, courts, offenders, mass murder, economic crime, corruption, victims, police/policing, prosecution, non-custodial penalties, prisons, terrorism/terrorists, forensic linguistics, eyewitnessing, sentencing disparities (especially as a function of a defendants' gender and ethnicity), restorative justice, the future of legal psychology.

Abstract Submission Opens 1st October, 2011
Deadline for receipt of abstracts 1st December, 2011
On-line Registration opens 1st December, 2011
Notification of Abstract acceptance 15th December, 2011
Deadline for early bird registration 15th January, 2012
On-site Registration Fees begins 10th April, 2012
Poster mounting and viewing 11th April, 2012
Opening of Conference 10th April, 2012
Conference Sessions 10th to 12th April, 2012
