Indian National Bar Association, Student Section is seeking to build their Student Section team for the tenure of 2019-20.

Eligibility:
Any student pursuing a five-year law course or a three-year law course (in any academic year), from any University / College recognized by the Bar Council of India, is eligible to apply. A student pursuing an LL.M. Programme from a College / University recognized by the Bar Council of India may also apply.
About INBA Section for Law Students:
Indian National Bar Association is keenly focused on taking the Indian legal industry and its members to newer heights. Representing the entire Legal ecosystem in India, INBA is dedicated to expand its member's professional network and industry insight. The Section for Law Students draws on its rich cultural diversity to offer students a distinctive membership experience, which bridges the gap between disparate legal jurisdictions. Section for Law Students is governed by an Executive Committee, which comprises a team of dedicated law students, whose unflagging efforts in organizing projects enrich the career of law students in India. The Executive Committee is assisted by Research & Editorial Committee, Development & Programme Committee, Reporters Committee, Media Committee and Legal Aid Board, other INBA Sections and INBA core team, whose indefatigable efforts and unwavering support has ensured that Section for Law Students has grown by leaps and bounds since its inception.
About Media Committee:
The Media Committee aims to conduct and report the interviews of eminent personalities including Jurists, Advocates, and Academicians. It also provides coverage of latest legal updates, judgments, legal news, coverage of live event etc. for the Newsletters, Articles & Journals published by INBA. Further it focuses on developing the interest of members for Media & Entertainment Laws. The Committee is responsible for photography and reporting of events conducted by INBA.
About Research & Editorial Committee:
The Research and Editorial Committee of Indian National Bar Association is a student-run team of legal researchers, editors, and drafters. It aims at producing top-notch legal researchers and provides research and drafting support to the Ministries and Public Institutions.
About Reporters Committee:
The Student Reporter Committee is an eminent body of Section for Law Students, INBA which aims to conduct and report the interviews of eminent personalities including Jurists, Advocates, and Academicians. It also provides coverage of latest legal updates, judgments, legal news, coverage of live event etc. for the Newsletters, Articles & Journals published by INBA.
About Legal Aid Board:
The Legal Aid Board is a team of law students, effectively working to promote legal aid throughout the nation. The aim of the Legal Aid Board is to serve legal aid to those who need it, on a pro bono basis. It involves organizing Legal Awareness Camps, Legal Literacy Workshops, assistance in securing legal rights and the like. INBA supports NGO's, Government Institutions and the deprived population in order to secure justice.
About Development & Programme Committee:
The Development & Programme Committee has the prime focus on raising funds for the various activities of INBA by drawing up a fund raising plan which includes seeking corporate sponsors and large individual donor. The committee also aims at assisting the core team of INBA in organizing various activities like National & International Conferences, Seminars, Conclaves, Moot Competitions, Debates, Webinars and other programmes for the benefit of legal fraternity.

The subject line must read - "Application for Legal Aid Board''. Application must be accompanied by a 250-500 word write-up on the following:-
'How will you contribute while working at the Legal Aid Board and in your view, what measures shall be taken by INBA in order to promote legal aid?'
Please note that all the positions are unpaid and voluntary in nature.
Deadline:
The last date for receiving application is 22nd June, 2019.
Selection Procedure:
Shortlisted candidates have to go through:
- Screening of CV, cover letter and write-up submitted;
- Delhi-NCR based applicants are required to appear for an interview at INBA Office
- Outstation candidates shall go through a Telephonic Interview
