1st Annual Amity International Moot Court Competition

Amity Law School, Noida is organizing its 1st Annual Amity International Moot Court Competition (AIM-I), an international legal event that promises to be one of the most interesting in the Indian subcontinent.

AIM-I is scheduled for 18th - 20th November, 2011 and will be held at the Amity Law School Campus, I-2 Block, Amity University, Sector-125, Noida, INDIA.

The problem for the inaugural moot court competition would test the students on their understanding of Public International Law. The problem which is based on a major international event involves issues relating to international law, role and authority of United Nations organs, and law of war and would involve a thorough research and detailed reading of the international legal jurisprudence.

Law schools from India and abroad are invited to participate. The event would have renowned legal experts and jurists in attendance such as judges of the Supreme Court, heads of corporate law firms and many reputed law practitioners.

The competition will provide a platform to law students, to display their legal acumen as well as persuasive skills and provide them an opportunity to interact with various legal luminaries of the country.
