The Law and Technology Society at National Law School of India University, Bangalore is going to host the 16th Consilience Conference on "Intermediary Liability and Content Regulation: Principles, Perspective and Solutions"

Venue: National Law School of India University, Nagarbhavi, Bangalore

Objective of the Conference:
The objective of this year's conference is to bring together experts from diverse backgrounds including technical experts, lawyers, policy-makers, and industry professionals, to discuss the current scenario of the much needed moderation of online content in this era of fake news and disinformation. We intend to submit policy recommendations to relevant agencies in the Government of India, based on the deliberations at this Conference.

Agenda:
The conference will have three panel discussions:

  • Foundational Principles of Regulation of Online Content and Platforms
  • Online Content Regulation: State of Affairs in India
  • Online Content Regulation: Global Perspectives and Solutions

Registration Fees:

  • Students: Rs 150/-
  • Professionals: Rs 350/-

The registration fee includes lunch for all the participants. The fee does not, however, include accommodation.
