About JGU And JGLS: O.P. Jindal Global University is a non-profit university established by the Haryana Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act, 7009 at Sonipat. Haryana (NCR of Delhi) JGU and JGLS are recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The University Grants Commission (UGC) has notified JGU as a private university established by the state legislature of Haryana. JGLS has developed international collaborations with Harvard Law School, Yale Law School, New York University School of Law, and several other reputed law schools and universities worldwide.
Eligibility: Five Year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Programme: 10+2 examination or equivalent with not less than 50% aggregate marks
Three Year LL.B. Programme: Bachelor's degree in any subject with not less than 50% aggregate marks
Two Year LL.M. Programme (International Trade Law, Corporate and Financial Law, LL.M. in Intellectual Property Rights): Three year LL.B. or five year B.A. LL.B. with not less than 50% aggregate marks (Those graduating in 2010 can apply)
LSAT-India Admission Test:
Students for admission to the five year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), three year LL.B. and two year LL.M. programmes at JGLS will be selected on merit, i.e. their performance in the Law School Admission Test-India (LSAT-India). LSAT-India is an entrance test designed by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC), USA and is conducted by Pearson VUE, LSAC's affiliate in India. The test will be in a multiple choice format and will cover logical reasoning, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.
Application Process: Register online for the LSAT-India entrance test by logging on to ww.pearsonvueindia.com/lsatindia. The LSAT-India registration fee is Rs. 3500/-; the fee can be paid online or by Demand Draft. Please contact Pearson VUE at LSATIndia@pearson.com for more information.
