Obtain Driving Licence: Lakshadweep

Procedure

Candidates are to apply initially for a learner's licence in the prescribed form, and later appear for a driving test after a schooling period. After passing the test, the candidate has to remit Rs. 40 for a driving book. The Regional Transport Officer (RTO) will issue the book once it is ready. The validity of the Licence is 20 years from the date of issue, or till attaining the age of 50, whichever is earlier.
