How is Sale Deed for a new flat registered in Chennai? Property Developers in Chennai say, for a new flat, only the UDS can be registered and the flat details like flat number and flat area in sq. ft. can not be mentioned in sale deed for first sale. These, they claim will be part of the construction agreement (which is not a govt. registered document) between the builder and the buyer. Is this correct? Is this the way new flats are registered in Chennai?
