Andhra Pradesh LAWCET / PGLCET 2016

APLAWCET - 2016 and APPGLCET - 2016 are the Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Tests for admission to 3 / 5 year LL.B courses and LL.M courses in the Universities at Andhra Pradesh and their affiliated colleges. These tests are being conducted by Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapuramu on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad.

Law Common Entrance Test - 2016 (LAWCET - 2016) is for entry in to those seats of 1st year of five year / three year LL.B. degree courses.

LAWCET - 2016:

  • 3 year LL.B. Course
  • 5 year LL.B. Course

PGLCET - 2016:

  • LL.M

Eligibility:

LAWCET - 2016:

3 Year LL.B. Course:

  • The candidate should have passed Graduate Degree Examination of minimum three years duration (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% marks in case of SC / ST categories) in the qualifying examination.
  • If any candidate secured less than 45% in graduation, he should have passed any additional graduation or Post Graduation with 45% marks.

5 Year LL.B. Course:

  • The candidate should have passed two year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST categories) in the qualifying examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent to Intermediate by the University, Board of Intermediate A.P. and Bar Council of India.

Age on Admission:
There is no maximum age limit prescribed for admission into 3 year and 5 years LL.B. Course.

PGLCET-2016:
Candidates holding LL.B. / B. L. degree on the date of application and candidates who have appeared / appearing for LL.B. / B.L. final year examinations are also eligible.

Registration Fee:

  • LAWCET (3 and 5 years): Rs. 450/-
  • PGLCET: Rs. 600/-.

Last Date for Submission of Applications without Late fee

30th April, 2016

Last Date for Submission of Application with a Late fee of Rs. 500/-

1st to 7th May, 2016

Last Date for Submission of Application with a Late fee of Rs. 1000/-

8th to 15th May, 2016

Last Date for Submission of Application with a Late fee of Rs. 1500/-

16th to 21st May, 2016

With late fee of Rs. 5000/- Candidates have to write the entrance Test in Anantapuramu only.

22nd to 27th May, 2016

Date and Time of APLAWCET-2016 & Examination 10.00 am to 11.30 am

28th May, 2016

Date and Time of APPGLCET-2016 Examination 2.30 pm - 4.00p.m
