Workshop on Child Labour in India: Issues and Concerns

Centre for Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy (CSSEIP), Andhra University is going to organize a one day Workshop on "Child Labour in India: Issues and Concerns" on the eve of World Day Against Child Labour.

Date: 12th June, 2015

Call for Papers:
Interested persons, teachers, scholars and NGOs are requested to participate with a working paper or Research Paper on any of the following themes on child labour.

Themes:

  • Social Exclusion and Economic Conditions
  • Policies and Programmes
  • Legal Protection and Welfare
  • Role of NGOs and Civil Society
  • Problems in Hazardous Employments
  • Any other relevant issue relating to Child Labour

All the paper presenters are requested to send their papers in M.S Word format with title, Name of the author, complete address, and telephone number by an e-mail attachment to: childlabourworkshop2015@gmail.com on or before 31st May, 2015.

Please note that only limited and selected paper presenters will be communicated for participation and participants need to stay from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. Each participant would be given 15 minutes time for presentation. All the selected presentations will be published. Deliberations at the workshop, it is hoped would essentially contribute towards a range of policy measures.

No Registration Fee and No T.A. will be provided. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation.
