National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR)
NALSAR is one of the 12 national law universities in India. National Academy of Legal Studies and Research is located in the ethnic city of Hyderabad. It provides integrated BA LLB course of 5 years and LLM course of 2 years. In BA LLB course it has a total of 80 seats and for LLM course 60 seats of which 75% seats are reserved for general category. National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) admits candidates to its BA LLB and LLM courses through CLAT. Candidates can get the form of CLAT through designated branches of Indian Bank, State bank of India and all National Law Schools. Candidates can also download the form through the website www.clat.ac.in.
For BA LLB a candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with atleast 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories). Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2010 can also apply. Also a candidate should be under 20 years (22 years for reserved categories) before 1st July, 2010. For LLM candidate should have passed LLB/BA LLB degree with atleast 55% aggregate marks (50% for reserved categories). Those who are in final year can also apply.
