International Seminar on Interface between IPRs, Competition Law and Traditional Knowledge - 2015
University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indrprastha University, New Delhi is pleased to organize an International Seminar on Interface between Intellectual Property Rights, Competition Law and Traditional Knowledge.
Date: 12th - 13th March, 2015
- Interface between IPR and TK: Analysis of global regime
- TK in India: Efficacy of existing legislative framework to protect TK
- Need to develop a sui generis system for both defensive and positive protection
- Interface between IPR and competition law: Conceptual Analysis
- Abuse of dominance and IPR
- Competition law and IP law in India
Call for Papers:
Original and well researched papers from academic scholars, faculty members, researchers and students across the globe on any of the themes/sub themes are invited for the presentation at the International Seminar.
Only registered participants can attend the Seminar and present their papers. The registration charges will be Rs. 2000/- per person and for foreign personnel: USD $250. Registration Fee includes permission to attend all the technical sessions including inaugural and valedictory functions), seminar kit, working lunch for both days with one welcome dinner/official dinner.
No TA/DA will be provided to the participants from the organizing institute. No certificate shall be issued in absentia and there shall be no refund of registration charges at any stage.
Research paper as well as abstracts may be submitted to the organizing committee of the seminar at firstname.lastname@example.org
Guidelines for Seminar Paper:
Research paper should possess research skills and use of appropriate research methodology. Research paper should not be of more than 5000 words. It must be typed in Times New Roman Font Size 12 on A4 size paper with 1" margin on all sides with 1.5 line spacing using MS Word application. Footnotes should follow ILI rules of footnoting which is available at http://www.ili.ac.in/footnoting12.pdf. At the end of the paper, there should be a brief profile of the author with E-mail ID, contact number and address.
The Organizers will help you in finding out suitable accommodation in nearby area. Limited accommodation is available on first come first serve basis, (shared accommodation on a minimum of Rs: 600 per day) for participants from outside the NCR area only. Preference shall be given to paper presenters.
