Fraud is an ever-growing phenomenon all over the world and India has not been isolated. Awareness levels are increasing and so are the sophisticated fraudsters. Cyber crime and mobile banking fraud takes the top position to the latest trend in fraudulent activities. The risk of fraud can be reduced through a combination prevention, deterrence, investigation and detection methods.

However, fraud can be difficult to detect because it often involves concealment through falsification of documents and collusion among management and employees.
