Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University (TNDALU) - Admission Notice 2010-11

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission to the following Undergraduate / Post Graduate Degree

Courses in Law [Regular] offered in the School of Excellence in Law [SOEL], The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University Campus, Chennai - 28 and in the affiliated Government Law Colleges in Tamil Nadu for the academic Year 2010 - 2011.

Under Graduate Degree Courses:

  • 3 Year B.L. (Hons) Degree Course offered in the SOEL.
  • 3 Year B.L. Degree Course

Eligibility for Law Courses:

TNDALU Law Mode of Selection 2010:

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the qualifying examination as per Government orders.

NDALU Law Application Forms 2010:

  • Separate Application Forms should be obtained for B.L. [Hons] and B.L. Degree courses.
  • Request letter for Application Forms should contain the name of the candidates and the course for which the application is sought for (Viz., B.L., (Hons.), and B.L. Degree Courses).
  • Application form can be had in person or by post from the following address on a written request along with the Demand Draft towards the cost of Application Form drawn in favour of "The Registrar, The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai" payable at Chennai.

  • To avail concession on the cost of Application Forms, SC / ST candidates shall submit a copy of their Community Certificate along with their written request.
  • Demand Draft dated prior to 16.06.2010 will not be accepted.
  • Cash / Cheques / Money Orders / Postal Orders will not be accepted.

Application Forms will be issued on all working days in between 10.00 A.M. and 05.00 P.M. on the below mentioned dates as follows :

  • Application Forms shall be sent by ordinary post / courier and the University will not be responsible for non - receipt or any postal delay in receipt of Application Forms.
  • Filled in applications should reach the Chairmen of the concerned Admission Committee on or before the last date prescribed.
  • The applications received after the due date will be summarily rejected.
  • There are 5 seats reserved under NRI quota in the B.L. [Hons] Course.
  • Application Forms for 3 Year B.L. Degree Course can also be obtained in person at the following Law Colleges with a written request along with Demand Draft drawn in favour of "The Registrar, The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University Chennai".

The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University invites applications from the eligible candidates for admission to the Post Graduate M.L. Degree Courses in Law [Regular] offered in the following addresses for the Academic Year 2010 - 2011 under Choice Based Credit System [CBCS].

Eligibility for TNDALU 2010 Admission:

Qualifying Examination:
A pass in B.L. Degree Course [either 3 Year / 5 Year] examinations with 45% Marks in aggregate under new regulations (or) with 40% Marks under old regulations, wherever applicable.
Those who have written the Final Year Exam awaiting for the publication of results can also apply.

  6. Criminal Law & Criminal Justice Administration.

Mode of Selection:
Selection will be made on the basis of the marks secured in the qualifying examinations and interview. State Government rules relating to reservation shall apply.

TNDALU Application Forms 2010:

  • Separate TNDALU 2010 Application Forms should be obtained and submitted for each branch of study.
  • Request letter for TNDALU 2010 Application Forms should contain the name of the candidate and the branch for which the application is sought for.
  • TNDALU 2010 Application Form can be had in person or by post from the following address on a written request along with the Demand Draft (Rs. 400/- in person; Rs. 450/- by post, ; Rs. 200/- for SC / ST Candidates in person; Rs. 250/- by post,) drawn in favour of "The Registrar, The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai" payable at Chennai.
  • To avail concession on the Cost of TNDALU 2010 Application Forms, SC / ST candidates shall submit a copy of their Community Certificate along with their written request.
  • TNDALU 2010 Application Forms will be issued on all working days between 10.00 A.M. and 05.00 P.M. from 01 July, 2010. The last date for issue and submission of forms for admission is 30 July, 2010.
  • Demand Draft dated prior to 01.07.2010 will not be accepted.
  • Filled in applications should reach the Chairman, M.L. Admissions 2010 on or before the last date prescribed.
  • The TNDALU 2010 Applications received after the due date will be summarily rejected.
